Watasoge: STM32 synth firmware written by Claude Code
Without touching code or vendor tools, the maker had Claude Code get a Nucleo STM32 board and a DAC playing a 440 Hz tone, the first step of a synth module.

The full story
Watasoge is a synth firmware project for the STM32G431KB, written up as a building log. In this step the goal was to have a NUCLEO-G431KB board with a PCM5102 DAC play a 440 Hz sine tone to speakers while blinking its LED, and it worked.
For the first time, the maker used no manufacturer configuration tools or IDE: Claude Code with Opus 4.6 handled the setup and code and even explained how to wire it up. The maker says they didn't touch a single line of code or configuration file. Later entries in the log add wavetables, Karplus-Strong plucked sounds and gate inputs.
