The full story
This is a native PC port of Silent Hill 1 built on the community decompilation of the PlayStation game, made with Claude's help. It uses PsyCross, a compatibility layer for Sony's PlayStation SDK, to run on modern hardware. What began as an experiment is now fully playable, with a large feature set, built-in mod support, fan translations, an active community and ports to other platforms. It's still in beta.
