The full story
PeriHub began because the maker’s keyboard and mouse lacked official Linux controls and needed separate Windows applications. Built in Rust and Tauri with substantial Claude help, it brings SteelSeries Apex 3 TKL and Logitech G502 HERO settings into one app.
The maker reports working lighting, remapping, DPI, buttons and macros saved to device memory. Each write is backed up and read back because an incorrect byte could damage a profile. Eleven releases are reported at the time of the post.
Another 30 Logitech G mouse models can be read but are not enabled for writing until someone tests them. The application is free and MIT-licensed.
