The full story
Pebble is a block-survival game for macOS written in Swift and Metal, directed by the poster using Claude Fable 5. It is about 45,000 lines across 82 files with no external dependencies or game engine, a hand-written Metal renderer, and all sound and music synthesised in real time.
The poster lists 879 blocks, 63 biomes, 55+ mobs with A* pathfinding, redstone, villages and three bosses, plus deterministic world generation pinned by 456 regression tests. It is MIT licensed, singleplayer only for now, and has to be built from source.
