The full story
Sketch (paper-rs) is a native Rust infinite-canvas design and whiteboard app, modelled on the behaviour of the Paper design tool and built clean-room after study with REA and Claude Code. Pages are infinite canvases with frames, components, auto layout, vector paths, gradients, rich text and pressure-sensitive ink. A whiteboard mode adds hand-drawn shapes, bound arrows and sticky notes. It exports PNG, SVG and PDF and imports Excalidraw files.
