The full story
NASlab started with an Unraid owner opening several phone dashboards to work out why Plex was stuttering, a disk was hot or a backup had stopped. The Android application summarises the server’s condition, checks likely causes for a chosen symptom and guides the owner to a setting before checking the result.
The maker says Claude helped build it while they chose features and tested on their own server. It includes SMART trends, server and app controls, plus a dry-run preview and confirmation before risky actions. The shared screenshots use a demo mode that can be tried without a server.
Unraid is the main target; TrueNAS, Synology and Linux support are beta. The app is seeking Android testers through a closed test, so general availability is not established by the post.
