The full story
The poster's HP 15-dw1036ne laptop shows a "BIOS Corruption Detected" message if the BIOS is modified, and they could not find anyone who had unlocked it. They gave Claude Code a BIOS dump plus tools including Ghidra, UEFITool and Unicorn Engine, and it worked out how to bypass the firmware's RSA-2048 signature check.
Claude tested the extracted signature-check code in an emulator before anything touched real hardware, and finished with a Python script that patches the BIOS file. The poster says they tried it on their laptop and it worked, and that it might suit similar HP models. They warn anyone trying it to have a chip flasher such as a ch341a ready to recover the BIOS.
