The full story
GAMEMAX IceBurg Digital all-in-one CPU coolers have a small LCD panel that only the Windows vendor software can drive. This project reverse engineered its USB HID protocol, using REA's managed-code analysis and Ghidra on the Windows software. The result is a small Linux sender plus an animated tray app with live monitoring, settings and systemd autostart, released as AppImages.
