The full story
Diodon is a GTK clipboard manager for Linux, written in Vala. The author analysed their installed copy (1.12.0) with REA's binary-layout tools and Ghidra decompilation, and used the exported symbols to rebuild its full class structure. They then wrote a single-file Python replica with PyGObject.
The replica follows the recovered logic closely: how pasting picks its key binding, how duplicates are skipped, how items are filtered, and how multiple clipboards stay in sync. The notes are in Chinese.
