The author's Microsoft Band 2 was stuck on "Continue setup from the Microsoft Health app on your phone", an app Microsoft deleted when it shut its Health services down in 2019. With Claude Opus 5 reading the device's USB protocol, they got the band out of setup from a MacBook and working again.
