The full story
Adafruit gave Claude Code shell access so it could compile, upload and test code on a Metro Mini board with an OPT4048 colour sensor, and suggest fixes when something failed. At the time it ran through Windows Subsystem for Linux, since Claude Code didn't run natively on Windows.
Their verdict: not great for writing drivers from scratch, but very useful for tedious debugging and fast iteration.
