CarPlay and a debloat on a Corolla Android head unit
Claude Code helped debloat a car head unit over Wi-Fi ADB and wrote a small app so HOME and BACK work with wired CarPlay.

The full story
The unit is an Alpine-branded RK3368 clone with 2 GB RAM and Android 8.0. Using only pm disable-user, the poster disabled 39 packages and free RAM rose from about 650 MB to 1.5 GB.
Wired CarPlay works through the open-source DiPlay; wireless does not, because the unit has no usable Bluetooth radio. Using the direct USB port and other tweaks cut the first connection from about a minute to about 4 seconds. Claude wrote the small app that returns HOME to CarPlay.
