The full story
The poster wanted their new Inovelli switches to stay in sync, with a pairing process like Bluetooth headphones. They used Claude Code, calling it "total vibe code", to make an automation that creates Zigbee groups.
A long press on one switch's scene button starts pairing, and a long press on another binds it to the group. It can also cycle LED bar colours across a group to show which is which. They admit something similar may already exist.
