The full story
armGBA is a lean RetroArch core written with Claude Opus 5.5 to run Game Boy Advance games accurately on slow chips such as the 1.3GHz RK3326. It is not a fork of mGBA: the CPU engine with a JIT was written from scratch, and only mGBA's renderer was borrowed and adapted for ARM and x86.
The maker says games run at full speed on 1.2GHz ARM processors and pass the community accuracy tests that mGBA and NanoBoyAdvance pass. Game Boy and Game Boy Color support comes from an imported Gambatte, and it can emulate the link cable over netplay.
