The full story
A Hacker News commenter's Kubernetes cluster, running in a VM, was short of resources. They connected an old Samsung device to their PC and let Claude handle everything. All they did was unlock the bootloader and flash the image Claude prepared. Claude rebuilt postmarketOS several times to enable the right options, and the device now runs as a Kubernetes node. A reply notes that newer Samsung devices can't have their bootloaders unlocked.
