The full story
The author designed and built a physical replica of a 1970s-style front-panel microcomputer, inspired by the IMSAI and Altair, with more than 25 toggle switches, 16 LEDs and an LCD, powered by a Raspberry Pi Pico running an 8080 emulator. A matching web emulator lets you flip the switches and run programs in your browser.
