The full story
The Garrett Micro II is an unusual old computer that has had some attention in the last couple of years. The maker found a PDF of its manual and vibe coded an emulator with Claude, which "created much more that I asked for".
The Python project includes the CPU and memory, an assembler and disassembler, I/O device simulation, a GUI and a command-line interface, example programs and a test suite. The post doesn't say how faithfully it matches the real machine.
