TrackerWatch runs as a local VPN and intercepts only DNS lookups, so nothing leaves the phone. It records which app contacted which server and whether the screen was on. After 24 hours the poster saw 1.2k tracker lookups, 47 apps tracking them and 44% of it while the phone was locked.
They then asked Claude to block trackers too: it scans each installed app's code for bundled tracking SDKs and found 473 across 99 apps. Checked against real traffic, it blocked 99.2% of known tracker lookups without breaking the apps.
