The full story
The owner used Claude to update several Home Assistant automations, including a more dynamic one for their air conditioning. It runs hourly between 6am and 11pm, checks the outdoor "feels like" temperature, humidity, weather and average indoor temperature, works out a suggested temperature and mode, and sets the thermostat.
Heating suggestions are sent only as notifications. The owner shared the full YAML in the post.
