The full story
Claude Code implemented a sailing simulator while the maker directed features and checked the results. The work includes boat physics, wind, 3D water and coastline, and an interface for AI-controlled sailing.
Each competing model receives 23 world-state values every five simulated seconds and chooses helm and sail settings. The simulation pauses during model reasoning so response latency does not decide the race. The post shares a race demonstration, rather than evidence that the simulator is an accurate real-world sailing model.
