The full story
After seeing a clip of children playing capture-the-flag with bottles, the maker wrote a simple spec and wireframes and let Claude Code build the game step by step over a weekend. The first version was three files, later split into a more modular structure.
Asked to "pick something fun" to add with no guidance, Claude chose a dash mechanic with knockback collisions, which they kept and tuned. It runs on Bun with WebSockets, Redis for matchmaking and PostgreSQL, using a binary protocol, client-side prediction with interpolation and 30Hz server-authoritative netcode.
