The full story
The maker is developing a hidden-object game and used Claude to draft music for its different sections. Python-generated MIDI was rendered through SFZ sample libraries, with pitch-map corrections, range checks and high-pass filtering. The maker considered those results usable as drafts.
Adding Kontakt Player, Spitfire and Decent Sampler instruments with additional effects in Reaper did not produce the hoped-for improvement. After roughly six hours with Fable at medium effort, the maker still reported incorrect pitches and poorly controlled reverb and chorus, despite reducing instruments and disabling effects.
