Radio amateur 2M0DDX connected Claude Code to a ham radio. He talks into a Baofeng UV-5R handheld, a Quansheng UV-K5 receives it through a home-made lead into the PC, Whisper turns speech into text and Claude Code acts on it, even changing code on screen while he's out in the garden.
A WSJT-X-style screen he built shows each transmission, and saying "SSTV" gets a picture sent back. It was built in about a day, with talk-back over FM planned next.
