The full story
This practice project uses REA to inspect the JavaScript behind Chrome's offline T-Rex game through the Chrome DevTools Protocol. Codex then built an independent HTML5 canvas version with regression tests. The interesting finding is subtle: movement depends on elapsed time, but speed increases once per eligible update. Keeping that right matters more than matching the look.
There's a live demo you can play in the browser.
