The full story
A Hacker News commenter reverse engineered a Doogee U10 tablet (Rockchip RK3562) to boot Debian natively from an SD card, with no vendor kernel source or documentation, using just the device tree extracted from the stock Android firmware. Android stays untouched: remove the card and it boots normally. You just write the image to an SD card, with no unlocking or flashing tools. They used Claude, Gemini and ChatGPT along the way.
